Why was Denis O'Sullivan worried the space ball could be radioactive?

it might of been from the fall but they didn't say there were any pieces around the ball
Q1. because the ball has been sitting on his lap for about 30 minutes he said

LOL id be worried to because having been driving for half an hour to the city and not knowing what might happen to it or what it was and then the police man testing it to be radioactive.... id go take about 5 showers. (I wonder if it was radio active if he would have got super powers lol)
Well I dont quite know about the hole green squishy guys flying around in a pancake? but I mean whats not to believe because their is some sightings and stuff.
I find it hard to believe in aliens and then I do believe in them at the same time....argh its complicated any way next question.
I think they probably thought that it was important to keep it safe because it could have been a ufo part or something like that.(Or it could have committed a crime)

What an experiance to have that wolud just be awesome......this thing fell from the sky how exciting but yes you probly would keep away from it just in case.Id freak and run off screaming
Im not quite sure what ufo's are but a good guess would be police???? honestly i have no idea even after reading the artical.but i think this is so because ive heard it on movies..
They probly locked it up to keep it safe or they may not have any other rooms left to keep it in.....
Again they probly didnt want anyone to steal it because of its valaue...
With absulutly no idea what the space thingy is id definatly keep clear of it incase it exploded....
Just aswell it didnt blow up other wise lots of people may have died.it confuses me how it got dropped maybe by an army plane or just out of plan nowhere now thats a mystery.....

I think that denis was worried because the ball fall out of the sky . who knows what it was but to me i would be scared . maybe he was scared because he might of thought a plane droped it and it could of been a bomb:( or something worse . if i was him i would run back to the house and called for help ...
I dont no if i belive in ufos beacuse one day just above our neibours house there was this blue light going aroung and and around until it faded my dad was the one who saw it he said it was around at 10.00 at night . i dont no if it was a ufo because some said the light could of been a layser . But still there has been sightings of ufos in kikoura from a pilote and it happened 2 times.
i think they looked the ball up becaue they might of thought that someone did it as a prank and they wanted to get the ball back for some reason so the ploice looked it up and they might think someone would steal it ..
Ithink he was worried because maby if it was radio active it could harm him.
No because i have seen no proof of alien skin or other parts of UFOs on other planets.
Because if it could harm them it would not be able to because it can not get to them.
I think the russians could be trying to fool us into thinking that there are real space aliens out there and UFOs could this really be solved....
I don't think the man was at all worried about it being radio active because he had it on his lap all the way home! It was more the police man who was worried.
I don't really believe in U F Os since there is,nt actually any definite proof that they exsist.
They put it in the cell so that if it was radio active it would not be able to harm anyone.
Maybe the Russians needed to design their space craft a bit better in those days.

I would have to agree with Ben.Carrying a ball which falls from the sky and holding it for 30 min would be worrying .He didn't know where it came from so he might of thought it came from a UFO or it came from a rocket (wich it did)and I'm sure rockets are radioactive.
I don't believe in UFOs because no one has any solid proof that little green men fly around in the sky.So I don't believe in them.
Maybe to keep it safe but I really have no idea why you would lock up a steel ball in a jail cell!

ufo for real i dont think that is the case just a faled experment
they locked it in the jail because there might be still stuff in there.
I do belive in aliens because look how big the universe is HUGE.
I think that sphere is just plain awesome, from the sky don't know where it came from, plain awesome.
he was worried maybe because since they thought it was from space that might of been the first thing that came to his mind.

I got the impression that denis didn't think that the space ball was radioactive because he just picked it up and went back to the
farm.
I do believe that there are aliens because there are so many millions of stars in just one galaxy that cold have planets. and there are millions of galaxies. I don't believe that they visit here though.
Putting it in the jail was silly because it wouldn't stop the radioactivity.
